About the Speaker

Jennifer Doctorovich, LPC-A, FNTP, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Functional Nutritional Therapist who uses functional medicine, supplementation, and an integrative background with her clients. She is also an LPC-Associate supervised by Tamara Allen Bush. Jennifer has a strong group fitness background having managed and taught (cycling, core, and HIIT amongst many) at gyms in New York City and Texas for 20 years, specializing in Chronic Fatigue, HPA Dysregulation, and Blood Sugar handling issues prevalent with performers and athletes. With her therapy clients, Jennifer is focused on the gut/brain connection and the effect of nutrition on neurotransmitters, anxiety, and mood disorders. She has transitioned into nutritional psychology for mental health stability and trauma informed psychotherapy. Her professional identity lies in PTSD and attachment theory, employing a psychodynamic/multimodal modality which includes somatic work such as Brainspotting, DBT, and Parts work. A graduate from the University of Western States with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Jennifer is also a professionally trained actress, a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, and a member of Actor's Equity where she continues her research with performing artists, a passion population.
