About the Speaker

Milton Bastidas, DC, CIHP, is a distinguished leader in the field of integrative and functional medicine. Originally from Colombia, he is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College with advanced certification in Functional Medicine. Dr. Bastidas is the Founder of True Lifelong Wellness Center and has been in practice since 1998 treating skeletal conditions, sports injuries, and systemic disorders through a holistic and individualized approach. He also serves as Vice President of the College of Integrative Medicine (CIM) and Director of Research and Development at Transformation Enzyme Corporation, where his expertise drives innovation in enzyme therapy. His passion for soccer put him through college at Texas Lutheran University and he is very sought after in the soccer community for rehabilitation and nutritional counseling. Dr. Bastidas is also an expert in the use of laboratory analysis and enzyme nutrition as part of a functional and natural approach to well-being. As a lead researcher in Transformation's research and development team, Dr. Bastidas has co-directed multiple clinical studies examining the benefits of enzyme supplementation on systemic inflammation, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and a recent study about the effects of enzyme therapy on detoxification of endocrine disrupting compounds. He is also involved in developing specific treatment protocols depending on the biochemical individuality of the patient. Dr. Bastidas resides in Houston, TX, with his family, where he continues to advance the integration of laboratory analysis and enzyme therapy into comprehensive, functional wellness care.
