Eating disorders are among the most complex conditions to address, intertwining physical health, mental wellbeing, and cultural pressures. While most conventional care focuses on counseling, CBT, or group therapy to reshape thought patterns and behaviors, these approaches often overlook deeper roadblocks to recovery such as "food noise," digestive distress, and the risks of refeeding syndrome.
But what if the key to reducing food anxiety and restoring balance was as simple as supporting digestion with the right enzymes? Behind every eating disorder lies a deeper story of nutrient gaps, gut imbalances, and misinformation. In this session, Jean Sullivan, a functional nutrition expert specializing in eating disorders, will share how enzyme therapy can quiet food noise, improve nutrient absorption, and transform the refeeding process.
