Enzyme Myths and FAQs
Amy Rawls, MS, RD, LD, CGN, FMNS
The use of supplemental enzymes has often been the subject of debate as to its effectiveness and importance. Although enzyme biochemistry has been studied since the 1930's, the role of enzymes in supplementation and therapy hasn't been widespread or well understood. When it comes to supplemental enzymes, there is a great deal of misinformation and myths about these delicate life-giving substances.
In this webinar we discuss these common myths and address frequently asked questions regarding enzymes and how to navigate which formula is best to avoid unwanted side effects and poor compliance. Transformation's Director of Clinical Services covers the science of enzymes and separating fact from fiction.
